Description

Non-upset tubing is made of steel tube and it has non-upset ends. The steel tubes are made of an alloy of iron, carbon and other elements. NU stands for non-upset joint. A difference between NU and EU (external upset) is that NU usually has 10 teeth per inch and EU often contains 8 teeth per inch. This oil pipe is used in the construction industry, but it also can be found in other manufacturing and industrial applications. Non-upset tubing is used to transport fluids and gasses for commercial and residential buildings.

Structure

The non-upset tubing is processed with threads at both ends. On one end is installed with a coupling. The coupled end and the other end are both mounted with protectors to protect the thread. This oil pipe is manufactured according to API specifications.
